The Fabulous Innertube Race is a Fun race only.

ALL TUBERS ARE REQUESTED TO REGISTER AT THE CANAL.

Numbers will be assigned at registration.,  All Tubers must provide their own AUTOMOBILE TIRE TUBE.

ALL TUBERS MUST REPORT to the race site approximately one half hour before the start of the race. At this time, race officials will check equipment Tubers without a race number will be disqualified.

The start of the tube race will be signaled by cannon fire or other announced signal. Tubers will run from the starting point to the Canal and enter the water in the normal confused tuber fashion. Once in the water, tubers will assume the tubing position (see #5 below) and attempt to complete the race course. GOOD LUCK!

Upon completion of the race, an order of finish number will be handed to tubers once they cross the finish line

REQUIRED TUBE ETIQUETTE

1.     Sign up and receive a number.

2.     You must supply your own inner tube.

3.     You must line up at the start line near the canal.

4.     Tubers will start in the water, sitting in their tubes.

5.     Tubers must paddle backwards with hands and feet and paddle out around the marker and back to start line.

6.     Prizes for the first three finishers

SWIM

There are two swimming competitions at the Sunlife Cornwall Waterfest. The first is a 750 metre race and the second is a 1.5 kilometre race.
